Key New Features in PVcase v2.62

Multiple Module Power Classes with Electrical Design
- Extends June 2026 functionality (which supported multiple module types without electrical design).
- Now, when a layout exported from PVcase Ground Mount contains more than one module power class and a DC electrical design, Yield assigns specific strings to each power class.
- Benefit: Simulations reflect the actual string composition per inverter, not just plant‑level averages.
Configuration Enhancements
- New configuration view with built‑in compatibility checks.
- Module power classes are listed individually with string counts, ensuring all modules are accounted for.
Simulation Accuracy
- By mapping strings to specific module classes, Yield models electrical behavior more realistically.
- Captures mismatch losses and cabling effects that were previously approximated.

Virtual Machines: PVcase Ground Mount and Roof Mount will not run on VMs.
GPU Requirement: Integrated graphics are insufficient; a dedicated GPU is mandatory.
